The role of a Junior Support Technician is to assist the Technical Support team in all aspects of maintaining and providing IT services to our group of Companies.

The Technical support team is the primary contact for all internal users when they experience technical issues, production and general enquiries. You will work closely with all of the technology teams although most of the focus will be around the Desktop services and will allow you to understand and participate in the implementation, documentation and maintaining of the services and providing the associates with an excellent end user experience. The role will also be involved in Companywide projects such as Business Continuity, software rollouts and critical servicing and updating of company systems.


  • To provide first line helpdesk support to the company’s associates for hardware, software, audiovisual, photocopiers and telephone equipment.
  • To assist with the setting up, maintenance and repair of computers, audio-visual equipment, computer-linked equipment and computer-related equipment.
  • To install and configure software applications.
  • To help produce and maintain checklists and other documentation as necessary.
  • To assist with the upkeep of the firms Technical inventory.
  • To maintain satisfactory standards of safety and security in relation to computer rooms and equipment.
  • To set up, maintain and organise repairs for various computing, audiovisual and telephone equipment.
  • To implement and manage moves and changes as per the companies needs,
  • To Carry out Administrative tasks as required by Technical department
  • To proactively implement the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • To undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested by the Technical team.
  • To provide support and training of associates as they leverage new technologies
