Description

• Process invoices and ensure accurate coding to the correct accounts.
• Prepare and execute payment runs in line with company policies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies promptly.
• Support month-end closing by providing accurate accounts payable data.
• Maintain detailed and organised records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
• Assist in improving accounts payable processes and implementing best practices.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Profile

• 3+ years' experience within Accounts Payable, Payment Operations, or a similar finance function
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting
• Comfortable leveraging technology and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and problem-solving
• Experience with ERP, invoice management, or payment processing systems such as PeopleSoft, Concur, or similar platforms is advantageous
