This company is a specialist grinding machinery and manufacturing technology who supply into the aerospace and defense industries, working a range of interesting projects such as space telescopes for NASA and SpaceX. Founded in the 1890's, this company has continually shown stability through keeping up with the newest machinery whilst ensuring their staff are well looked after.

In this role you will be responsible for 3D modelling in Siemens NX, focusing on designing high precision components for all exciting new Nasa and SpaceX projects, compiling and issuing accurate BOMs, whilst supporting other engineers on the shop floor.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a machinery background looking to apply their skills to cutting-edge aerospace projects, using Siemens NX to design components for world-leading clients such as NASA and SpaceX, including the James Webb Space Telescope.

The Role:

• Design and development of machine tool systems
• Design and risk reviews for new projects
• 3D AutoCAD Design

The Person:

• Design Engineer or similar from a machinery background
• Proficient with any CAD package
• Commutable to Bradford
