Senior Quantity Surveyor
About this role
A growing, Hammersmith based, construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work on high-end residential projects for prestigious private clients across prime London locations.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead projects from early cost planning and procurement through to delivery and final account, working closely with clients, architects, designers and specialist contractors.
This is a role with real visibility. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be trusted to manage key commissions, advise clients on commercial strategy and help maintain the high standards expected on premium residential schemes.
The consultancy is also looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants to contribute beyond project delivery. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to strengthen client relationships, support new opportunities and play a part in the continued growth of the business.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Strong UK PQS / consultancy experience
- High-end residential experience preferred
- Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge
- Confident with cost planning and procurement
- Experience managing valuations and final accounts
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Commercially aware and detail focused
- Comfortable managing projects independently
- MRICS or working towards chartership
- Ambitious and interested in business growth
