Are you Quality Manager or similar from a Sheetmetal or Welding/Fabrication background looking to lead a small team of Engineers and Inspectors for a business that can offer a highly autonomous and rewarding role?

Do you want to join smaller function of a premier Engineering business that can offer the opportunity to work on projects of national significance?

In this role you will be split between management and hands-on, primarily covering a local site with travel to client projects and suppliers when needed. You will handle supplier quality; be responsible for maintaining the QMS; relevant welding accreditations and overseeing PFMEA, Control plans and any customer quality complaints. This is a great opportunity to play a significant part in the supply of fabricated products to highly regulated industries.

This role would suit a Quality Manager or similar from a Sheetmetal, Welding or Fabrication background looking for an exiting opportunity offering a truly unique role with plenty of responsibility, challenge, recognition and reward.

The Role:

• Leading a small team of Quality professionals, from Inspectors to Engineers
• Ultimately responsible for all Quality procedures on site and supplier quality
• Maintain the QMS and relevant fabrication and welding certifications
• Shape the role into your own - autonomy to introduce and improve procedures
• Manage all quality activities including PFMEA, Control Plans & RCA
• Monday - Friday, 37.5 Hours per week, TOIL & Overtime options for excess hours

The Person:

• Quality Manager or similar
• Welding, Sheetmetal or regulated engineering background (Nuclear, Defence, Rail etc)
