Quantity Surveyor
About this role
The Company: An independent, forward-thinking construction cost consultancy built around a simple principle, providing great advice, building strong relationships and delivering real value for their clients!
They work across a diverse range of sectors, with particular expertise in commercial fit-out, refurbishment and high-end residential projects. Their clients range from private individuals and developers through to established businesses, and they pride themselves on delivering the same level of commitment, attention to detail and commercial understanding on every project.
Their approach is collaborative, proactive and commercially focused. They work closely with clients, designers and contractors to establish realistic budgets, manage risk, navigate procurement and deliver the best possible outcomes. They believe in finding solutions rather than creating obstacles, and in building relationships that last beyond individual projects.
As a growing consultancy, they’re equally committed to doing things differently. They embrace technology, modern working practices and fresh thinking, while maintaining the technical expertise and personal service their clients expect.
They’re building a business where people have a genuine voice, take ownership of their work and have the opportunity to grow alongside the company.
The Role: They’re looking for an ambitious and capable Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team!
This is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit, developing consultancy where you'll have genuine involvement in projects, direct exposure to clients and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the business.
You'll work across a varied portfolio of projects, particularly within the commercial and high-end residential sectors, supporting and delivering cost management services from early feasibility and cost planning through procurement, construction and final account.
They want someone who enjoys being involved, is comfortable taking responsibility and understands that being a good Quantity Surveyor is about more than producing spreadsheets and cost reports. It's about providing sound commercial advice, developing relationships, anticipating challenges and helping projects move forward.

-

-
Managing project budgets and providing proactive commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.

-
Reviewing design development and challenging costs to ensure value is achieved without compromising quality or project objectives.
-
Building strong working relationships with clients, architects, consultants and contractors.
-
Taking ownership of project deliverables, managing priorities and contributing to the successful delivery of multiple commissions.
-
Supporting the continued development of company systems, processes and use of technology to improve how they deliver their services.
