Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Fitter with experience working on industrial machinery, looking for a permanent, days-based position with overtime and progression opportunities?

On offer is the chance to join an established and growing British manufacturer specialising in the production of concrete products for the construction and landscaping industries. The company operates a busy manufacturing facility, producing a range of concrete products using specialist production machinery and equipment.

You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing mechanical plant and production machinery, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Machinery will include; conveyors, mixers and splitters.

Aditionally, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults and undertake basic hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

The suitable candidate will be a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer, with knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing plant and machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtime
• Inspect, service and maintain equipment to ensure reliable operation
• Undertake mechanical repairs involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs
• Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm

The Person

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Background working on conveyors or similar industrial machinery
