• FMCG bev / beverage Ops Director jobs role. £120,000–£135,000 + package – Operations Director jobs FMCG / Site Director / Plant Director jobs – FMCG, food & beverage, bottling, canning, filling and high-volume manufacturing. Must have FMCG or canning or bev experience. 
• You must have end-to-end manufacturing operations experience. Drinks, bottling, canning, filling and food manufacturing backgrounds are particularly relevant. Wider FMCG and high-volume manufacturing candidates will also be considered.
• Business based near Burton-on-Trent, with significant investment, automation projects and ambitious growth plans. This is a growing manufacturing business, not one of the large breweries.

Operations Director – Candidate profile

• Ideally an established Operations Director, Site Director, Plant Director or Manufacturing Director with responsibility for a complete manufacturing operation.
• Must have end-to-end operational leadership experience, covering production, engineering, quality, supply chain and overall site performance. This is not a production-only role.
• FMCG experience is particularly relevant, especially food and beverage, bottling, canning, filling or packaging. We are happy to consider wider high-volume manufacturing backgrounds where the operational experience is transferable.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational excellence and performance improvement.
• Experience overseeing CAPEX, automation, new equipment and commissioning projects would be advantageous.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to understand site performance, costs, investment and the wider business objectives.
• A strong, visible and collaborative leader. The business needs someone who sets clear expectations, develops the management team, engages the workforce and builds a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• A stable career history and the desire to make a long-term contribution are important. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a growing FMCG / bev / bottling and canning manufacturing site.
