Electronics Operative

We are currently hiring for an experienced electronic production technician to join the team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment in Chippenham – SN15.

• 37 hours per week
• 0730 – 1530 Monday – Thursday, 0700 – 1430 Fridays
• £15.06 per hour
• Overtime paid at £20.03ph weekdays, £22.59ph Saturdays, £26.36ph Sundays
• Start ASAP, ongoing full time role
• Ample free parking on site

About the role

• Carrying out precise electronic / electrical soldering, wiring and assembly activities in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• PCB assembly, inspection and testing to a high standard.
• Identify faults and report any non-conformances
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Meeting production targets and deadlines in line with project requirements.

What we need from you

• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications – electrical / electronic engineering, assembly, manufacturing
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
