Trethowans is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Private Client Solicitor or Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join our highly regarded Private Client team in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented private client lawyer looking to further develop their career within a progressive and growing firm. We are interested in speaking with candidates at Associate, Senior Associate or Junior Partner level who are looking to join an established and successful team, handling high-quality work for a broad range of clients across the region.

The Role

You will manage a broad range of private client matters, including:

Wills and estate planning
Trust creation and administration
Probate and estate administration
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Inheritance Tax planning
Advising high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with colleagues across the firm, contribute to business development activities, and help strengthen Trethowans' presence across Southampton and the wider Hampshire market.

About You

The successful candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Lawyer with 3+ years' PQE
Have strong technical expertise across a broad range of private client matters
Demonstrate excellent client relationship and communication skills
Be commercially minded, proactive and enthusiastic about developing their career
Enjoy working collaboratively within a successful and supportive team
Have an interest in business development and building professional relationships
