HGV Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Fleet Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Heathrow. Applicants must have at least one year's experience as a Vehicle Technician, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) and possess a valid driving licence. Experience servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, including Transits and Sprinters, is advantageous.

Location: Heathrow
Salary: £56,000 per annum
Hours: Split Shifts – 6:00am–3:00pm / 1:00pm–10:00pm

HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair commercial and fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension
• Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve faults
• Maintain accurate repair records and workshop documentation
• Ensure all work meets workshop quality and safety standards

HGV Technician Requirements

• Minimum one year's experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and software
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driving licence
• Strong communication skills
