Road freight forwarder

Road freight forwarder / Road freight co-ordinator required in the heathrow area for a freight forwarder.  This freight forwarder covers a wide range of services and one is the road freight side, this freight forwarder will be on the freight forwarding desk. Upto £36k, monday to friday, 37.5hrs a week. This role is within road imports

The role
As a road freight forwarder you will be responsible for the Co-ordination of Road import services, Responsibility for invoicing & profitability on your jobs plus responsibility for Customs Compliance on customs entries

Processing of HMRC queries through to resolution and closure, minimising duty/tax liability. Involvement in Customs audits. The role will include Day to Day responsibility for customer service delivery to Road customer

Management of Road Imports and exports Email Inbox, and procedural work flows of consignments Transit movements, Imports and exports. Follow up and resolve all any operational issues / customer service concerns raised by the customer. This Road freight forwarder role will include all the standard road freight forwarder duties. 

Experience
We are looking for a Road freight forwarder, you will have an understanding of imports and road freight. You will be organised and Confidence with a computer including excel,  CRM database and BoxTop.  Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy and action-orientated with problem solving, you will also have HMRC Import Customs Procedural knowledge
