HGV Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, LGV Technician or LCV Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Heathrow. Applicants must have at least one year's vehicle technician experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent) and possess a valid driving licence. Experience working on commercial vehicles, including Transits and Sprinters, would be advantageous.

Location: Heathrow
Salary: Up to £42,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
OTE: £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – Split Shifts

HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair commercial and fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension
• Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults
• Maintain accurate workshop records and repair documentation
• Ensure all repairs meet workshop quality and safety standards

HGV Technician Requirements

• Minimum one year's experience as a Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or LCV Technician
• Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment and software
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driving licence
• Strong communication skills
