Grounds Maintenance Operative

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for Grounds Maintenance Operative's to join a friendly team based in Manchester (M23 9LF). There is also an open position for someone with cemetery operative training.

Key Duties:

• Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
• Operating small plant machinery including:
• Pedestrian mowers
• Strimmers
• Hedge cutters
• Leaf blowers
• Assisting with a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (up to 3.5 tonne) – Essential
• Experience driving a tipper and trailer – Preferred
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:15am – 3:00pm
• 36.25 hours per week
• £13.45 per hour

Contract:

• 12-week temporary assignment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
• Drug and alcohol test on induction
