Renewable Sales Surveyor

Trade Recruit is recruiting on behalf of a growing renewable energy company seeking an experienced Renewable Sales Surveyor with strong technical knowledge and proven sales experience.

You'll attend customer appointments across South East London and surrounding areas, survey residential properties, recommend suitable boiler, heating and renewable energy solutions, and convert enquiries into confirmed installations.

This is a sales-focused position, not just a surveying role. We're looking for someone confident in closing deals and managing the full customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct domestic property surveys for boilers, heating systems, Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps.

• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.

• Follow up enquiries, negotiate and close sales.

• Manage customer relationships from initial consultation through to installation.

• Work closely with installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

• Achieve sales targets and identify additional sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in boilers, heating or renewable energy – essential.

• Strong technical understanding of domestic heating systems, Solar PV and/or heat pumps.

• Experience conducting property surveys and preparing quotations.

• Demonstrable ability to convert enquiries into sales.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.

• Self-motivated, organised and commercially driven.

• Full UK driving licence.

Experience with battery storage or multiple renewable technologies would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000–£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• 3%–5% uncapped sales commission.
