Logistics & Import Administrator

Location: Bolsover Hours: Full Time Contract: Permanent Salary: £28-32,000   Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience in logistics, imports, or supply chain operations? Do you enjoy keeping processes running smoothly, managing data accurately, and liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure goods arrive on time? If so, we'd love to hear from you.   We are looking for a Logistics & Import Administrator to join our growing team in Chesterfield. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll support the end-to-end movement of international shipments, ensuring import documentation is accurate, customs requirements are met, and supply chain information is maintained to the highest standard.   Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track international shipments from supplier to warehouse
• Prepare, review, and maintain import and customs documentation
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Monitor purchase orders and proactively identify potential supply chain delays
• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system
• Generate reports and analyse supply chain data and KPIs
• Support inventory control and stock reconciliation activities
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Process and reconcile freight and customs-related invoices

Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export administration, or a similar role
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident working with data, systems, and reporting tools
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
