Now part of Hanab UK, we're entering an exciting new chapter of growth. Being part of a larger group brings greater opportunities to expand our capabilities, take on increasingly ambitious projects and strengthen our position within the UK energy infrastructure sector.
As we continue this growth journey, we're looking for talented individuals to join us, develop alongside the business and play a key role in shaping our future.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join our growing delivery team, providing technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple construction sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer or Senior Site Engineer looking to take ownership of technical delivery across a varied portfolio of projects.
You'll work across up to three live projects, supporting delivery from initial mobilisation through to energisation. Acting as our technical and quality assurance presence on site, you'll ensure works are completed safely, to specification and in line with approved designs.
Working closely with our Site Managers, Civil Package Managers and Project Managers, you'll play a key role in maintaining construction standards, coordinating temporary works and resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee technical quality and compliance across multiple civil engineering construction sites.
-
Carry out quality inspections, complete check sheets and ensure works meet approved drawings, specifications and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
-
Review subcontractor documentation, including RAMS, lift plans, ITPs, permits and inspection records.
-
Act as Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing temporary works registers, design checks, inspections and permits in accordance with BS 5975.
-
Coordinate setting-out activities, verify site control and undertake as-built surveys.
-
Identify and resolve technical queries, design clashes and construction issues, maintaining accurate RFI records.
-
Monitor material deliveries, testing and installation quality to ensure compliance with project specifications.
-
Raise, manage and close out non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
-
Support project planning by ensuring drawings, permits, temporary works designs and technical documentation are available ahead of construction activities.
-
Maintain accurate site records, quality assurance documentation and handover packs.
-
Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout project delivery.
About You

Essential Requirements:
-

-
Minimum 3 years' experience working on civil engineering construction sites, including experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Site Engineer.
