Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join our premium franchise-approved dealership in Hereford. This Vehicle Technician role offers excellent earning potential, manufacturer training and genuine long-term career progression within a nationwide dealer group.

• As a Vehicle Technician, you will receive a basic salary of up to £45,000, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 per annum.
• 33 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays.
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rota from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Duties:

• As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance to the Service Manager.
• Complete all work to a consistently high standard while following relevant quality procedures.
• Work efficiently within a busy service department and contribute towards team performance targets.
• Maintain a professional approach when handling customer vehicles and dealership equipment.

Requirements:

• To succeed as a Vehicle Technician, you will hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience within a franchise-approved dealership or similar busy workshop environment is desirable.
• A valid UK driving licence with minimal points is required.
• You must be committed, reliable, quality-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• An active MOT licence would be highly advantageous, although it is not essential as full training will be provided.
• The successful Vehicle Technician will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hereford.
