Customer Service Advisor

Location: Bedford (office-based, 5 days a week)
Salary: £26,500–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Customer Care Advisors to join a growing team in Bedford.

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping with product enquiries, orders, deliveries, returns and after-sales support. You’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring every customer receives a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, live chat and social media.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on orders, gather feedback and contact potential customers.
• Help customers choose suitable products and accessories.
• Manage orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and refunds.
• Provide product advice, including set-up, care and maintenance.
• Handle warranty claims, faults, repairs and spare parts.
• Record customer feedback and report recurring product issues.
• Support retail partners with product and order enquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and help keep FAQs and support information up to date.

About You

Essential requirements:

• Previous customer service or customer care experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using the phone for inbound and outbound calls.
• A patient, friendly and solution-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Available to work full-time from the Bedford office.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable experience:

• Experience with customer service platforms such as Gorgias.
• E-commerce or online retail experience.
• Confidence explaining product features and practical use.
• An interest in sales and career development.
