Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 plus company car or car allowance and benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of around 8 to 10 live projects at varying stages
- Pricing and preparing tenders
- Carrying out site measures, monthly valuations and applications for payment
- Producing monthly cost value reports
- Managing variations and negotiating final accounts
- Leading each job alongside the Contracts Manager and Foreman
- Building strong relationships with everyone from site teams to client directors
Projects range from small repeat works up to around £500,000, mostly within an hour and a half of Derby, with no overnight stays as standard.
Requirements
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience within a specialist subcontractor environment
- Experience within painting and decorating, plastering, drylining, ceilings or other finishing trades
- Experience managing projects commercially from tender through to final account
- Strong understanding of valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts
- Black or gold CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
