Mobile HGV Technician

We are recruiting a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to join our established commercial vehicle servicing company in the Doncaster area. This is an excellent Mobile HGV Trailer Technician opportunity for an experienced trailer or HGV technician seeking a mobile role with a reputable and growing employer.

Duties:

• Working as a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician, carrying out inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicle trailers.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults on trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders.
• Travelling to customer locations across the Doncaster area using a company vehicle.
• Completing work accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Planning daily workloads effectively and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician, Trailer Technician or HGV Technician is essential.
• Practical experience working with trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders.
• Level 2 or Level 3 HGV or vehicle maintenance qualifications, or an equivalent qualification, would be advantageous.
• An HGV driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Excellent time management and timekeeping skills.
• A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of the importance of accuracy.
• The successful Mobile HGV Trailer Technician must be comfortable working independently and planning ahead.
• This Mobile HGV Trailer Technician position requires a professional attitude and the ability to deliver reliable mobile servicing support.
