We are recruiting on behalf of an established and well-known value retailer that is looking for an ambitious, hands-on Store Manager to lead one of its busy stores.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the store, driving sales, maintaining high operational standards and ensuring your team is motivated to deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities include:

● Driving store sales, profitability and overall performance.

● Recruiting, coaching and developing a successful retail team.

● Leading from the front and creating a positive, results-focused culture.

● Managing stock availability, merchandising and store presentation.

● Controlling costs, payroll and stock loss.

● Delivering excellent customer service in a fast-moving retail environment.

● Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety procedures and operational standards.

About You

We are looking for a confident, energetic retail leader with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for retail.

The ideal candidate will have:

● Previous experience as a Store Manager, ideally within value, discount, variety or high-volume retail.

● A proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.

● Strong people management and leadership skills.

● Excellent operational and stock management experience.

● The ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

● A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.

● A proactive, resilient and results-driven attitude.
