The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join an established building services contractor, supporting the delivery of new-build commercial projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a strong Mechanical & Electrical background to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, from procurement and cost control through to final accounts.

The Role

• Manage the commercial aspects of M&E packages on new-build commercial projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports and forecasts.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
• Manage variations, change control and contractual notices.
• Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and maximise profitability.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree interim valuations and final accounts.
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the M&E / building services sector.
• Experience working on new-build commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services packages.
• Excellent commercial, contractual, negotiation and cost management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project delivery teams.
