Senior Architect

Senior Architect job in Birmingham with an established architectural practice offering hybrid working and an employee ownership opportunity. Suitable for an experienced, RIBA Part 3 qualified Architect with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience, this role involves leading residential projects across all RIBA stages, including build-to-rent, affordable housing, mixed-use, later living, refurbishment and regeneration, with responsibility for design quality, technical delivery, client management and Building Safety Act compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead residential projects from concept through to completion

• Manage design quality, project programmes, budgets and client expectations

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and planning submissions

• Oversee project fees, invoicing and commercial responsibilities

• Mentor junior colleagues and support business development activities

Skills & Experience Required

• RIBA Part 3 qualification with 5+ years' post-qualification experience

• Proven residential project delivery experience, including £5m-£50m+ developments

• Strong Revit proficiency and technical design capabilities

• Building Safety Act 2022, Higher-Risk Buildings and Gateway submission experience

• Experience managing consultants, clients, refurbishment, retrofit and regeneration projects

Salary & Benefits

• £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience

• Full-time or part-time options, minimum 80% FTE
