The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cellar Cooling Engineer to support a major pub and hospitality facilities management contract across the Coventry and Leicester area.

This is a field-based role involving planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs to cellar cooling and associated refrigeration equipment across a portfolio of busy pub sites.

We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused engineer who can work independently, manage their own workload and deliver excellent service while minimising disruption to trading sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs to cellar cooling systems.
• Diagnose faults and undertake reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
• Complete job sheets and maintenance records accurately.
• Liaise professionally with pub managers, clients and the contract management team.
• Work in accordance with health and safety requirements and contractual SLAs.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cellar Cooling Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or similar.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Commercial refrigeration or hospitality sector experience advantageous.
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications and valid F-Gas certification.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• A professional, self-motivated approach with good customer service skills.
