Site Manager

Bridgeman Recruitment Services (Agency) are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end new-build office development in Ellesmere Port.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing quality-driven commercial construction projects, with previous experience in education, healthcare or high-end commercial developments. You must be confident managing subcontractors, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site.

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives to maintain programme deadlines.

• Ensure all health and safety procedures, RAMS and site regulations are followed.

• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure works meet the required specifications.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, consultants and subcontractors.

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections.

• Monitor progress against the construction programme and resolve issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.

• Manage deliveries, materials, resources and site logistics.

• Ensure the project is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on new-build commercial, education or healthcare projects.

• Experience delivering high-quality, complex construction projects.

• SMSTS certification.

• CSCS Black Manager card or relevant equivalent.

• First Aid at Work certification.

• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and competing priorities.
