TN Talent Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing business in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Stores Operative to join their Goods In and Stores team.

This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are quite the same. You'll be working across the warehouse, handling incoming deliveries, managing stock movements and ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time to support production.

This isn't a desk-based warehouse administration role. Although you'll use SAP to manage stock and transactions, you'll also be physically involved in day-to-day warehouse operations, so you'll need to enjoy being active and working as part of a busy team.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, checking and booking in incoming goods and deliveries.
• Using SAP to record stock movements, goods receipts and inventory transactions accurately.
• Putting away materials and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
• Picking, preparing and issuing materials to support production requirements.
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory accuracy.
• Handling goods safely and maintaining an organised warehouse and stores environment.
• Working closely with production, logistics and other departments to ensure materials are available when required.
• Supporting general warehouse duties and assisting wherever needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse, Goods In, Stores or materials handling position.
• Experience using SAP within a warehouse or stores environment is highly desirable.
• A good understanding of stock control, goods receipts and inventory processes.
• Someone who enjoys a practical, hands-on role and being on their feet throughout the shift.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of warehouse operations.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating AM and PM shifts.
