Line Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to work fulltime Monday to Friday, on weekly rotational day shifts of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, at an established food production company on Stafford Park. This Line Leader position offers a pay rate of £14.45 per hour, this is a temporary to permanent role.

Responsibilities of a Line Leader:

• Overseeing a group of colleagues
• Repeatedly lifting products up to a maximum of 25kg
• Operating machines
• Inputting production information into a SAGE system
• Grading and Sorting products correctly
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Packaging products into relevant bags and boxes
• Working to a customer specification
• Ensuring all production and personal targets are met

Requirements for a Line Leader:

• Previous experience within a food production company
• Experience as a packing, production or quality operative
• Experience in a team leader or supervisor position
• Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern
• Ability to work as a team and individually
