Job Title: Business / Digital Skills Tutor

Location: Centre based 

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (inclusive of location uplift) - depending on skills and experience

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching qualification and/or Assessor award.

• Experience of delivering vocational training – and ideally experience of teaching or assessing Business Enterprise or Digital Skills.   

• Ideally hold own NVQ Level 2,or equivalent in a Business or Digital Skills discipline.

• Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to small groups of learners.

• Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

• Deliver qualifications in Business and Digital Skills, to small groups of learners within a classroom environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
