Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Multidrop Class 2 HGV Driver to join our client based in Bury, Lancashire.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who are confident with multi-drop deliveries and are happy with a hands-on role involving lifting and delivering large Items such as Carpets, rugs and connected accessories.

We would be looking for you to achieve 20 drops a day in and around the local area and NW.

This is a customer facing role, so you need to professional and courteous as well as being conscious that these deliveries are customer bought products and going into homes and businesses.

Monday to Friday

Pay is approx £15-£15.80 an hour dependent on experience. It is full time and ongoing work.

The Role

• Completing approximately 20drops per day, depending on the route.
• Delivering Carpets/Rugs stock to stores and customer locations.
• Loading and unloading using a tail-lift.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Providing a professional and reliable service at each delivery point.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday.
• Multi-drop store delivery work.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Physically Fit and able to lift over 10Kg.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and tail-lifts is advantageous.
• A reliable, professional attitude and good customer service skills.
