We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a leading manufacturing business based in Bamber Bridge, Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and engaging leader to take ownership of a production area, drive operational performance and support the development of a high-performing manufacturing team.

Working within a well-established manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and effective production of high-quality textile flooring products.

The Role:

• Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the production area.

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment and manufacturing processes.

• Drive production performance, ensuring quality, output and delivery targets are achieved.

• Coach, develop and support team members to improve capability and flexibility.

• Work closely with technical, engineering and operational teams.

• Lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure all production, quality and process documentation is completed to the required standards.

• Promote a positive culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor or similar manufacturing leadership role.

• Strong people-management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality and operational excellence.

• A positive and resilient attitude, with the ability to lead through change and challenges.
