As a Management Accountant in Trafford, you will manage core accounting activity for a well established business and provide clear financial information that helps day-to-day decisions. You will work within the Accounting & Finance team, keeping records accurate and reporting timely.

Description

• Prepare regular management accounts to give a clear view of financial performance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and investigate any variances or unexpected movements.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process with reliable financial data.
• Review costs and trends, helping colleagues understand key financial drivers.
• Produce timely reports for the Accounting & Finance team and relevant stakeholders.
• Reconcile financial information to maintain accurate and complete reporting.
• Work with internal teams to gather information needed for management reporting.
• Help improve finance processes so reporting remains efficient and consistent.

Profile

A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:

• Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Confidence working with financial data and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Good attention to detail when reviewing figures and reconciliations.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Job Offer

• Fixed-term contract.
• Salary of £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Based in Trafford
