Looking for your first real step into sales, with proper training behind you? Do people say you could talk to anyone? Would you enjoy being part of a friendly, sociable team that celebrates its wins together?

You’d join the local sales team of a well-established, family-owned advertising company that helps businesses reach customers in their area. You’ll be trained hands-on by the managing director, the sales manager and a dedicated sales trainer.

What you’ll do

• Win new local advertisers through a set number of calls each day
• Build relationships with local business owners, by phone and face to face
• Look after and grow the accounts you bring in
• Learn the products and the sales process alongside experienced sellers

You’ll bring

• Confidence on the phone, including calling people you’ve never spoken to
• A warm, approachable manner and the ability to think on your feet
• A genuine wish to build a career in sales, and to learn and be coached
• A steady, reliable work history
• No sales experience needed
