Experienced Structural Plater / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker

The Opportunity

Rilmac Fabrication is seeking an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Lincoln.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in fabrication and engineering environments who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

The Role

You will be responsible for fabricating small and large-scale components from detailed engineering drawings to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
• Producing fabrication work to specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures and using the PPE provided.
• Working efficiently with minimal supervision.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker (time-served preferred).
• Have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours.
• Be competent in the use of fabrication machinery, plant, and hand tools.

Desirable but Not Essential

• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
• Overhead crane certification or experience.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £15.60 to £16.63 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• 38.5 hours per week.
• 33 days' paid holiday, including bank holidays.
• PPE and overalls provided.
