Parts Centre Manager

We are seeking an experienced Parts Centre Manager to lead a busy Cross Hands branch for our successful automotive parts factor business, which operates nearly 40 sites across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Parts Centre Manager to join a supportive team following an internal promotion.

• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 or 08:30 to 17:00 or 17:30, with one in two Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 17:00.

Duties:

• Lead and support the sales team while remaining active on the front line.
• Manage existing trade accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships to increase sales, improve margins and deliver excellent service.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Complete customer callbacks promptly and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with all branch departments to meet customer requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams to develop product knowledge and anticipate customer needs.
• Use business data to identify opportunities across customer groups and product categories.
• As Parts Centre Manager, report directly to the Area Manager and contribute to the continued success of the branch.
• You'll play a key role in delivering branch performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Recent or current experience within the automotive vehicle parts sector.
• Experience in trade parts, telesales or a similar customer-focused automotive environment.
• Previous experience as a Parts Centre Manager, Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor would be advantageous.
• Strong sales, account management and customer service skills.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to handle frequent telephone contact.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cross Hands.
• To succeed as a Parts Centre Manager, you must be organised, commercially aware and capable of leading a busy team.
