Assistant Parts Centre Manager

We are recruiting an experienced and professional Assistant Parts Centre Manager to join our growing automotive parts factor business at our Cross Hands site. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of the branch and help deliver excellent customer service, profitable sales and continued business growth.

This Assistant Parts Centre Manager position offers a fully negotiable basic salary based on experience, plus access to a performance-related bonus worth up to £200–£300 per month. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am/8:30am to 5:00pm/5:30pm, with one in two Saturday shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Duties:

• Act as second in charge of the branch and its drivers.
• Support the Centre Manager with the daily operation of the site.
• Actively sell automotive parts to trade and retail customers.
• Find new business opportunities and manage frequent customer accounts.
• Develop strong customer relationships to increase sales and margins.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Complete customer callbacks promptly and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with all branch departments to meet customer requirements.
• Build product knowledge and remain responsive to customer needs.
• Use business data to identify opportunities across customer groups and product categories.
• Provide effective support to the branch as Assistant Parts Centre Manager.

Requirements:

• Recent or current automotive vehicle parts experience.
• Experience in telesales, trade parts or a similar automotive sales environment.
• Previous experience suitable for an Assistant Parts Centre Manager is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify sales opportunities and improve margins.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Applicants should live within an easily commutable distance of Cross Hands.
