The Role

I am working with one of the country's largest and most well-respected solutions businesses who have an urgent requirement for a Project Coordinator to support one of their most high profile customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programme and project activities, maintaining delivery plans, milestone trackers, action logs and key governance artefacts.
  • Organise and support project meetings, complex technical workshops and governance forums, including scheduling, agenda preparation and document collation; capture clear, accurate minutes, technical decisions and actions; and issue timely records and follow-ups to named owners.
  • Maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are clearly recorded, assigned, reviewed and escalated where required.
  • Support the production of status reports, dashboards, SteerCo packs and programme board materials, ensuring information is accurate, concise and submitted on time.
  • Track deliverables, approvals and dependencies across STAMP workstreams, highlighting emerging slippage, blockers or gaps to the Programme Manager.
  • Maintain document repositories and version control, ensuring project records, decisions and approvals are accessible and auditable.
  • Coordinate inputs from business, cyber, technology, operational, procurement and supplier stakeholders.
  • Support financial and resource administration, including raising and tracking purchase orders, maintaining forecasts, processing timesheets, and coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities where applicable.
  • Assist with change control, scope tracking, benefits monitoring and readiness activities.
  • Promote consistent use of agreed delivery standards, templates, tools and governance processes across the programme.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting projects or programmes in a complex technology, cyber security, telecommunications or regulated environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple workstreams.
  • Practical experience of project governance, including plans, RAID logs, status reporting and meeting coordination, with the ability to understand complex technical discussions and translate them into concise minutes, decisions and clearly assigned actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, technical specialists, delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams; experience of SharePoint, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar delivery tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and escalate issues appropriately.
