Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths looking for flexible daily supply work across Liverpool? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting qualified Maths teachers to support secondary schools across the Liverpool area, with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience in a range of school settings, maintain a flexible working pattern or explore new teaching opportunities.

The Role - Teacher of Maths

As a Supply Teacher of Maths, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, statistics and problem-solving.
• Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Develop pupils' numeracy, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs and abilities of different pupils.
• Build pupils' confidence in applying mathematical concepts to practical and real-world situations.
• Monitor pupil understanding and provide guidance to support progress.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support learning and maintain high educational standards.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this Teacher of Maths role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate pupils and support their progress in Mathematics.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach to daily supply work.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
