  • Polish gloss-finish components to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Follow work instructions and established preparation processes.
  • Ensure all components meet customer quality requirements.
  • Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Follow all health, safety and environmental policies, including the correct use of PPE.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in surface preparation and component finishing.
  • Knowledge of preparing different substrates for primer and topcoat.
  • Ability to use fillers to correct surface imperfections.
  • Excellent manual skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work and meeting required standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within aerospace, automotive or general manufacturing.
  • Previous experience working with carbon fibre components.
  • Background in automotive model development, body shops or paint shops.
  • Experience preparing and polishing components to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

You will take pride in your work, be reliable and organised, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality. Good communication skills, a positive team attitude and the ability to maintain a clean and professional workstation are essential.

You must also be willing to follow company procedures, complete required health and safety training, and work responsibly to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your colleagues.
