Health & Safety Advisor – Construction & M&E

We're recruiting for an established, financially secure engineering business looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support a varied portfolio of projects across London and the South East.

From major construction projects to complex refurbishments and engineering installations, no two weeks will look the same.

This isn't a role where you'll be sitting behind a desk producing paperwork. You'll be out on projects, working alongside operational teams, solving problems and helping deliver work safely.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting construction and engineering projects from planning through to completion.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Providing practical advice on CDM, risk management and safe working practices.
• Reviewing Construction Phase Plans and H&S documentation.
• Improving procedures and influencing safety standards across multiple projects.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a M&E / MEP engineering H&S role.
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction safety.
• Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
• NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent (will consider level 3 for the right candidate)
• A practical, confident and approachable personality.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy being out on sites, building relationships and making things happen.
