£15.00-£17.00 an hour(OTE £42,000) + Overtime + Bonus + Progression

Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering, or similar? Are you looking for a workshop-based role within an expanding engineering company offering regular overtime at time and a half, additional earnings through occasional call outs, and the opportunity to progress into a Supervisor or Manager position?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with over 40 years of experience specialising in electric motor repairs and rewinds, pump and gearbox overhauls, precision machining, and mechanical transmission equipment. The company has recently joined a growing national engineering group and is looking to expand its workshop team.

In this role, you will carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installations on a wide range of motors, pumps, and gearboxes. You will be responsible for stripping, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling equipment, completing workshop documentation, and working closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure customer deadlines are met, with occasional paid call outs for breakdowns.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar with experience working on motors, pumps, or gearboxes, looking for a varied workshop-based role offering overtime, additional earnings, and the opportunity to progress.

The Role:

• Repairing, servicing, and overhauling electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Mechanical maintenance, fault finding, assembly, and workshop repairs
• Overtime at time and a half, occasional paid call outs, and progression opportunities

The Person:

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Experience working on motors, pumps, gearboxes, or rotating equipment
• Commutable to Warwick
