SALARY: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum + Bonus +Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW

This is a strong opportunity to join a busy motor-trade team where accurate estimating and customer relationships matter. The Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator will support efficient accident-repair planning using Audatex.

Working closely with the body shop, the Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator will calculate repair times and communicate authorisation for additional work.

Customer contact is also central, with the Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator building relationships while identifying appropriate sales opportunities.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator include:

• Repair Estimating: Collate estimates for body repairs to accident-damaged vehicles using the Audatex computerised estimating system

• Repair Time and Authorisation: Calculate the time required for necessary repairs and inform the body shop when additional work is authorised

• Customer Relationships and Sales: Build customer relationships while maximising appropriate sales opportunities

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Motor-trade knowledge or experience

• Computer literacy

• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Negotiation and quick decision-making abilities

• Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure using own initiative

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
