Mon -Sun Night shift

£13.00 - £13.70 per hour

We are looking for Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join a global leader in the supply chain industry. This is a fast paced parcel sorter position within a busy distribution centre based at Peterborough PE3.

Role Overview:

• Accurately scan and sort parcels according to destination ( ~min 2000 parcels per shift)
• Build crates, palletise parcels, and ensure items are securely prepared for dispatch
• Support the safe, efficient operation of the warehouse as part of a collaborative team
• Utilise strong attention to detail and follow written instructions to achieve high standards
• Flexible shift patterns available, with variable start and finish times dependent on workload and parcel volumes
• Ad-Hoc / Part time /Full time
• Loading and unloading

Key Requirements:

• Able to communicate confidently in both spoken and written English
• Capable of understanding and following scanning, labelling, and sorting instructions
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 15 kg, when unloading trailers.
• Commitment to working Sundays and occasional Saturday's(during peak) , with flexibility across all 7 days
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive approach to teamwork

Shift Pattern:

• Nights: Start times between 8pm - midnight
• Shifts typically last 6-9 hours; longer hours may be required during peak periods.
• Due to the nature of the operation, start and finish times cannot be guaranteed in advance and will vary according to workload, so a flexible approach to working hours is required.
• Overtime paid over 40 hrs a week
