Warehouse Supervisor/Counterbalance/Bendi Forklift Driver – Dartford - £16.00ph – temp – Mon to Friday.

Location: Dartford
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary – 3 months, with potential to extend
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy warehouse operation in Dartford.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can lead and support a warehouse team while also getting involved in daily operations and operating a counterbalance forklift. The position is initially for 3 months, with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operating bendi forklifts.
• Coordinating picking, packing, goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and moving stock around the warehouse.
• Ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
• Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Motivating team members and helping achieve daily operational targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• A valid Bendi forklift license.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
