Registered Building Inspector – Class 2 / Class 3

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
Location: Remote Based – Occasional Office Attendance
Hours: Flexible Working

The Opportunity

GPS Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Registered Building Inspector to join an established Building Control organisation.

You'll manage a varied portfolio of residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations while working closely with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and assess Building Regulations compliance.

• Review building control applications and technical documentation.

• Provide professional guidance to clients and project teams.

• Maintain accurate inspection and compliance records.

• Resolve regulatory issues and support junior inspectors.

What You'll Need

• BSR registration – minimum Class 2B, ideally 2D–F or Class 3.

• Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or CABE.

• Level 6 qualification in Construction, Building Control or related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation.

• Experience using Bluebeam software.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
