The Role

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you'll be responsible for servicing, inspecting, repairing and fault-finding on a wide range of mobile and static plant equipment within a busy waste and recycling operation.

You'll work on equipment including:

• Loading Shovels
• Waste Handlers
• Skid Steer Loaders
• Mobile Shredders
• Forklifts
• Conveyors
• Vibrating Screens
• Air Separation Systems
• Magnet Systems

Your focus will be on minimising downtime, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring equipment remains safe and operational.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
• Background working on heavy plant, industrial machinery, recycling equipment, quarry machinery or construction plant
• Welding experience would be highly advantageous
• Good understanding of bearings, belts, conveyors and material handling systems
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Basic IT skills for completing maintenance records via tablet or mobile applications
