LGV 1 Day Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV 1 Driver / Cat CE Driver – Banbury 

Shifts: Monday to Friday – Start times between 04:00 to 07:00
Contract: Starting ASAP until at least until December 24th 2026
Location: Banbury

Pay Rates: During Peak period (1st November 2026 to 24th December 2026) pay rates increase to:

• £22.00 per hour (up to 50 hrs)
  
  
• £29.33 per hours Overtime (50+)
  
  

The Role:

Pertemps are recruiting HGV Class 1 / LGV 1 / Cat CE Drivers for store delivery work from our Banbury depot.

• Nationwide deliveries – 4–5 drops per shift
  
  
• Average 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
  
  
• Light stock unloading at delivery points
  
  
• Palletised deliveries off tail-lifts
  
  
• Modern fleet and supportive transport team

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 / LGV 1 / Cat CE licence
  
  
• Minimum 180 days Class 1 driving in the last 2 years in the UK
  
  
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
• Maximum 6 points (no DR or IN endorsements)
  
  
• Strong knowledge of driver hours & regulations
