Recruitment Consultant – European Workforce Solutions

At Adepto Technical Recruitment, we're expanding our European Workforce Solutions team and looking for a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking Recruitment Consultant / Account Manager.

You'll support international recruitment activity across Spain, Portugal and wider European markets, working with clients, candidates and local recruitment suppliers.

This is a varied position combining recruitment, relationship management and international workforce coordination.

We're interested in hearing from experienced recruiters, but also individuals with strong language skills and backgrounds in sales, customer service or account management who would like to develop a career in international recruitment.

What you'll be doing

• Managing recruitment requirements for clients across Spain, Portugal and Europe.

• Sourcing candidates for manufacturing, engineering, production and technical positions.

• Speaking with candidates and suppliers in Spanish and/or Portuguese.

• Screening CVs, conducting interviews and preparing candidate shortlists.

• Developing strong relationships with clients, hiring managers and recruitment partners.

• Coordinating recruitment processes, interviews, offers and start dates.

• Supporting contractor onboarding and workforce compliance.

• Managing recruitment supplier relationships across international markets.

• Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate pipelines.

• Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships.

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Professional fluency in English and at least one of Spanish or Portuguese.

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• A positive, proactive and commercially minded attitude.

Desirable:

• Experience in recruitment, sales, account management or customer service.

• Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese recruitment markets.

• Experience working with international clients.

• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing or technical recruitment.

Fluency in both Spanish and Portuguese would be particularly advantageous, but is not essential.

Working arrangements: This position is initially office-based in South Manchester to support training and integration into the team. Following successful completion of probation, work-from-home options will be available.
