About this role

When a business is growing quickly, the right people support can make all the difference. As an HR Advisor, you'll help managers navigate change, resolve employee issues and build better ways of working, making a real impact on both employees and the wider business.

You'll be joining an established business in the telecommunications infrastructure sector at an exciting stage of growth, with major new projects, organisational change and the introduction of a new HR system. This is an opportunity to get involved in much more than day-to-day people matters, helping shape processes and support the business as it develops.

What’s in it for you?
  • The opportunity to play an important part in a growing business delivering major telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Involvement in organisational change, TUPE activity and the implementation of a new HR system.
  • A varied position combining employee relations, management coaching and wider people initiatives.
  • The chance to influence processes, improve the employee experience and support positive workplace change.
  • Exposure to a broad range of people matters, from performance management to engagement and talent development.
  • The opportunity to work closely with managers and teams across the business, making a genuine difference to how people are supported.
Your responsibilities as HR Advisor
  • Provide practical advice to employees and managers on policies, employment law and day-to-day people matters.
  • Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance and workplace issues, helping achieve fair and timely resolutions.
  • Coach line managers on people management practices, policies and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR systems and produce reports to support business decisions.
  • Support organisational change, employee engagement, reward reviews, surveys and talent initiatives.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to improve processes, streamline administration and enhance the employee experience.
What we’re looking for in a HR Advisor
  • Previous experience in an advisory or generalist people function, including employee relations and management coaching.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law, workplace policies and compliance requirements.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems, maintaining employee records and analysing workforce data.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases and advising managers on performance, absence and people matters.
  • Associate Membership of the CIPD.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
