Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy catering operation in the Dundee area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in volume catering who is looking for stable, ongoing work with competitive rates of pay.

What's on Offer?

✅ Ongoing assignment

✅ 36 hours per week

✅ Shifts between 6:00am-2:00pm and 10:00am-6:00pm

✅ Alternate weekends required

✅ Immediate start available

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday: £14.55 per hour
• Saturday: £19.93 per hour
• Sunday: £25.26 per hour

The Role

Working within a fast-paced catering environment, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while maintaining excellent food quality, hygiene and safety standards.

Duties will include:

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Following recipes and production schedules
• Monitoring food quality and presentation
• Stock control and safe storage of ingredients
• Working collaboratively within a busy kitchen team

About You

We're looking for candidates who have:

• At least 3 years' chef experience
• Strong knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
• Understanding of HACCP and COSHH regulations
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant catering qualifications such as SVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 7061/7062 or equivalent (preferred)
